SDCC 2011 and New Book Debut

I am going to be at the SDCC with lots of goodies. Prints, Commissions, Stickers, and Books!

My Commission prices for the show are as follows. All my commissions are in watercolour:

-Quick Postcard commissions - $10
-More detailed 9x6 commissions $40 single character, $5 per extra characters
-12x9 Commissions (Pre-Order only) - $60 single character, $10 per extra characters

Stadium Comics Signing

Today Francis and I attended a signing at Stadium Comics in Brampton. Rob and Kevin have a totally awesome store that you should really check out if you live close enough. It has lots of awesome goodies and they were cool enough to have us there today! Stadium Comics Site

Hey everyone!

I wanted to let everyone know I have more information on the San Diego comic con. I will be with Francis Manapul at table DD-09. I will have my book You, Me, and Zombie for the show, but I will have about 90 copies of my book for sale at the show. If you would like to place a pre-order you can go to the You, Me, and Zombie Blog for all the pre-order information and I can also be reached at agnes@mymisiu for all the questions. The book will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

At the San Diego show I will also have a limited number of the following products. If you would like to place a hold on any of the products please email me at agnes@mymisiu.com and you would have to pick up your order by Saturday 2pm or else I will place it back for sale since I am coming with a limited number of items.

This part of the story really did happen in real life. When we were getting Otis it was between him and his brother. His brother was the first born in the litter and usually the first born in the strongest. Little Otis came around and pulled the rope right out of his bigger brother's mouth. That made the choice for us which doggy to get :)

Just cut all the shapes out, use a hobby knife to cut the inner red lines, and then match the letter together!

The Real Olive Meets You, Me, And Zombie

Olive had the pleasure last night to meet the characters of You,Me, And Zombie. She loved her human self very much and she tried to protect Otis from the Zombies coming after him.

The figures you see in these pictures are available for purchase! They come in a set of 4 for you to cut out and build yourself. I will make sure to post how they look before they are build some time this week as well. They are really cool since they are pretty easy to make and they need to glue. These little figures have survived several suit case trips, a convention and Olive herself!

I guess the time has finally come. I mentioned to a select few last summer that I was planning on working on my own title. I was not lying. Last summer You, Me, and Zombie started coming to life.

You, Me, and Zombie stars Olive and her little Shih Tzu Otis. They wake up one morning to find their whole town over run with Zombies. The two of them want to try to find out what happened and want find a cure to make everyone all better. They set off on the adventure of a life time to find Olive’s father who is a scientist and can maybe help them. But the problem is Olive's father has vanished and she has no idea where to find him.

The first release of You, Me, and Zombie will be issue 0. This issue takes place a few months after Olive and Otis discovered their town over run by zombies. They found a journal that holds clues to what might have caused everyone to get sick and turn into Zombies.

Issue 0 will be 12 pages long and packed full with a ton of extras and guest pin up art! The first print run will be self published by me in a very limited run. I hope for it to be a wonderful hardcover! This book will be a must have for anyone who loves a fun adventure book. The wonderful part about this title is that it will be for all ages! I am making sure to keep the book fun and kid friendly focusing on the adventures of the main characters.

I also hope to take this book to a publish to get it published in a bigger run! So make sure to stay tuned for any news regarding this title! I will also have it available for pre-order once I get the final cost for anyone interested since the hard cover will be limited numbers.

Now here is the wonderful part...the release date for the hard cover Issue 0 is scheduled for the start of summer!
